White Woman Pulls Gun On Shoppers In Walmart

Interesting note about the woman who pulled a gun on people at Walmart. It was a real gun. She pulled it and threatened someone over a note book. A NOTE BOOK.

Tamir Rice was 12-years-old holding a toy gun and playing on a playground. He was shot dead by cops. The cop jumped out of the car and shot Rice before the car even stopped moving.

John Crawford was 22-years-old and holding a toy BB gun at Walmart; a gun they sold by the way. He was shopping. A scared shopper called 911 and said a black man had a gun "waving it around" at Walmart. He was standing and talking on his cell phone in the pet food section when police ran into Walmart, shot Crawford twice, and killed him.

The woman in Walmart pulled out a real gun, pointed it at a group of people while children around. She's alive.

Don't fucking tell me the system isn't built against minorities. Racism is SYSTEMic. Racism IS the law. This is why Black Lives Matter is important right now. None of those all lives matter people showed up for Tamir Rice, John Crawford, Eric Garner, or Michael Brown. But I betcha they show up for ol' girl in the school supply section. She had zero reasons to pull a gun on anyone at that moment. She came up from behind and wasn't even in the midst of the problem.

Oh wait - she did have a reason - white privilege.

Yes but it was a really nice notebook! 7 subject with label insertable tabs, perforated pages, plastic cover with pockets and math and science charts, with plastic coated no catch spiral!

playing by you mean he pointing an altered realistic toy gun which at a glace would not be distinguishable from a real gun

Yep bad shooting. You forgot to mention that he could have legally be carrying a rea rifle

The woman in Walmart pulled out a real gun, pointed it at a group of people while children around. She's alive.

So would you have prefered she be shot dead too?

It's not cherry picking. TrivialPursuit has a point and if you can't see that in any of those situations, if the individual had been white the police would have handled those situations differently, then there is nothing more to be said to you because you will never see it. I'm a white woman and I can see the difference in the way the police approach a white person and resolve a situation than they do when it is a black person in the same or lesser situation.

Okay while I respect your opinions on the Org, I'm going to have to call a bit o' bullshit on a few things here. So despite possible hostile tones, I'm challenging the words, not you as a person:

So...

To me, it's fine to have a permit for a gun. I'm not anti-gun or anti-2nd amendment at all. But she had zero reasons to pull a gun on people. She wasn't being threatened (what is she going to suffer, a fucking paper cut?), nor did anyone violate her otherwise. No one hit her, stabbed her, etc. She wasn't in a position to claim defense or stand-your-ground. She wanted to pull her weapon out because she could. She has to be responsible as a gun owner. In this case, she wasn't.

To insinuate that I wish she had been killed to is really lowbrow. And I don't think you're usually lowbrow. I'd have rather John Crawford, Eric Garner,12-year-oldd Tamir Rice, Michael Brown and the piles of black bodies be alive and animated right now. The alternative is not to have another person dead at the hands of a cop.

If I cherry pick a white person out for pulling rank in society when they know they can get away with something that a black person would get shot dead for, then fuck yeah, call it what ya want.

You make valid points, TP. White supremacy/institutionalized racism is a bitch, and those most immersed in it are the last to be able to see it which is what makes it so easy for them to dismiss. But your points are valid.

I think what she did was a crime and she should be chaeged and she should lose her permit. She was criminally out of line

I am not going to get into the details of those events but I will agree cops need to be better trained. The fact that they can shoot and kill someone and say "Opps" but everyone else is expected to be 100% compliant is sick

If I cherry pick a white person out for pulling rank in society when they know they can get away with something that a black person would get shot dead for, then fuck yeah, call it what ya want.

Except plenty of white people are killed and plenty of black men with guns are arrested alive...
