Deportation of African and Other Black Immigrants Is Quietly Increasing And No One Is Taking Note

Although often not covered in the media, the African immigrant community is facing mass deportations in the era of Donald Trump. While the immigration debate in the U.S. is often framed in terms of undocumented immigrants from Mexico and Central America on the one hand and the infamous Muslim travel ban on the other, the issue is more complicated. As the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency conducts its sweeps on immigrant communities, African people are among those who are being detained and deported. While deportations were in no short supply under the Obama administration, these deportations are expected to soar under Trump, whose immigration ban on six Muslim nations includes three African nations — Libya, Somalia and Sudan. Trump also is clamping down on refugees and asylum seekers.

I’m not surprised this gets little attention in this country or by the media.

Still won’t stop America from turning Brown and Black though.

This part of that article (see below) is what many of us here, have have been saying about the difference of how other undocumented immigrants are treated in this country:

“Not all immigrants are treated equally or being targeted by immigration agents. For example, there are approximately 50,000 undocumented Irish immigrants in the U.S., as CNN reported, yet they are not facing the threat of police raids and deportations. “If this was about immigration, then the undocumented Irish and European folks would be a part of the roundups,” Oso said. “The people being deported are from Mexico, Central America, the Dominican Republic and Haiti. So, this is about keeping America white, not making America great.”

White American or European White immigrants?
If they’re White American citizens what’s the reason they are being held at the border?

Apparently, the focus of the thread’s article regarding deportation of Brown and Black undocumented immigrants, compared to deportation of undocumented Irish immigrants, was to show the big difference between how one group is more targetted than the other, and the reason seems to be more race-related, with favoritism towards one group. Especially since trump never complains about undocumented immigrants of European descent.

Ha, west africans. Co

Ooops west africans. I'm looking for the report.

On recent Saturday in Tijuana, there were 90 Cameroonians lined up to get on a waiting list to request asylum that has swelled to about 7,500 names. Also on the waiting list are Ethiopians, Eritreans, Mauritanians, Sudanese and Congolese.

Cameroonians generally fly to Ecuador because no visa is required and take about four months to reach Tijuana. They walk for days in Panama through dense forest, where they are often robbed and held in government-run camps. They come from Cameroon's English-speaking south with horrifying stories of rape, murder and torture since late 2016 by soldiers of the country's French-speaking majority, which holds power.

You’re welcome. Trump is trying his best to delay the browning of America... but he will not be able to prevent it no matter his dirty tactics. It’s going to happen regardless.

The happiest day will be when a massive number of Black and Brown Americans vote trump out of office. I will be celebrating when that happens. There will be plenty celebrations.

Of course there are more blacck and brown illegal immigrants being deported, there are a lot more of them than there are white illegal immigrants.

Whether there are more of them than Whites, Brown and Black immigrants are being unfairly targeted. The rush to get them out is not as harsh towards White illegal immigrant. That’s a fact.

Trump is obviously trying to delay or prevent the browning of America. He’s terrified of the political power that portion of the population will have in the future, but I doubt he will succeed in stopping that future demographic change. It’s bound to happen anyway. He won’t be president forever, he’ll either be voted out, and if not, he cannot serve more than 2 terms

If there are MANY MORE brown people illegally entering the country than whites, of course they're statistically more likely to get pinched than the few white folks that are here comparitively. It's likely not as much racism as much as it's statistics.

Lol, you’re missing the point that trump’s immigration issue is about delaying/preventing the browning of America. It is about race. One has to be living in a bubble not to figure that out by now.
