the "follow up" album remasters, to the newly Purple Rain Expanded 3Cd/1Dvd..?

please on behalf of the Prince community, will you make sure it will be these albums, in case you can have some kind of influence on future releases from Warner :

1. 1999 remaster with outtakes maybe

2. Around The World In A Day with the brilliant extended versions (Rapberry Beret, Paisley Park (song), America, Pop Life, She's Always In My Hair, & Hello)

3. Parade and bonus disc

4. Sign O' The Times, bonus, outtakes, incl. the movie?

5. Lovesexy and bonus

I really hope these will have a remaster treatment, these brillaint "works of art" truly deserves it.

Thanks, Sharon, in case my "?'s" are relevant. heart

Hello Ms. Nelson!

I have two questions:

This is one you probably get asked constantly, but do you know what the next Vault release will be? And can you give us any more information about the rumors of the 1983 First Avenue Benefit Concert DVD being shopped around?

And secondly, what do you wish the world knew about Prince that they don't know already?

Judicial obstacles notwithstanding, is there a clear vision with the Estate of what should happen with Prince's released material?

What do you think should or could happen with it?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Lots of love.

Will the estate consider a premium subscriber service for hardcore fans (similar to Prince's own NPG Music Club) to facilitate the release of Prince's later work and other projects (Welcome 2 America, Black is the New Black, Phase 3, etc.) that would predominantly appeal to those who know and have followed Prince's work most closely?

Hello Sharon. My condolences to you and your family. Missing your brother so much. It's thoughtful and kind of you to take the time to speak with us. Thank you for this.

1-Are there really only 50 pages of Prince's memoirs, and will it ever be published?

2-What's next on the list of Vault materials to be released?

3-Please tell me there really is another Vanity Six album, and if so, are there plans to release it?

Hey Sharon,
.
Thanks for taking our questions. I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother. I feel like you have all our deepest condolences.
.
I was wondering what the current state of the music left in the vault is? Has it been catalogued, or digitized? There are rumors that much of the music from the 80s has been degraded or damaged by time. Do you have any knowledge of how it's held up?
.
Again, thanks for taking the time to read these questions.

2. Will the Estate release The Second Coming DVD.

Hi, condolences to you and your family. When did your family first realize Prince's talents? Did your family have any idea when he was younger how enormously talented he was, and how his talent would influence the world? When did you all first notice his talent?

Hi Sharon.

Thanks for taking the time to do this and my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your brother whom we all miss immeasurably.

Until recently, Paisley Park were having viewings of some unreleased live shows. Seeing material like that is a dream for many of us. Will such shows ever be made available to purchase in one form or another? Most of us can't get to Paisley Park to see them.

During his career, Prince made many private donations and charitable acts to help out others - can you share any examples of these that we might not know about already?

Hello Sharon,

Could you please please please elaborate on the state of Prince's vaults, is there any work being done to preserve the contents and are their any plans of releasing archival projects like the Bob Dylan sets or The Beatles sets? With singles, promo's, testpressing versions of songs and of course outtakes and video releases (Blu-ray or DVD) all remastered by professionals who understand and steer clear of the horrors of the "loudness wars"?

Greets and thank you for taking the time to answers our questions.

Dear Sharon,

tons of Prince-bootlegs are circulating on the internet.

Currently it seems that some stuff is quite easily available.

Sharing bootlegs is imho a way of showing respect to the work of your brother (as long as no one makes money with it).

Are there discussions among the community of heirs how to deal with that in the future?

What should be tolerated and accepted- in your opinion - when it comes to sharing Prince-bootlegs?

Ms. Nelson,

Thank you very much for being willing to share your time with us and for doing everything within your power to honor and protect your brother’s musical legacy. I pray for you and your family’s strength and peace along this challenging journey.

If at all possible, would you be able to share a bit of information on what your brother was like as a child; a family story/experience that somewhat typifies or speaks to what he was like? Once again, thank you so much for doing this.

This would be wonderful. A book with the pages Prince had already written (both submited and the ones written but yet to be submitted), poetry, written down thoughts, letters, photos of favourite items (like stuff sent out by fans that he kept, fan letters, mementos from tours and places and friends that he personally kept) and especially photographs taken by him. <3

Dear Sharon,

We mourn the end of life journey of one of the greatest Souls of 20th century.

Thank you for this opportunity to get a light of sun and to know him better.

I have a few questions:

- What Prince was like out of stardom life (i.e. your brother)?

- ewgarding his sence of humour: what it a sway to test people in a way of creative thinking and honesty?

- what were his favourite movies (i.e. comedy, tragedy)?

- did he ever talk or believe reincarnaiton?

- did he think the Eart is flat? icon_smile.gif

- could you be sok ind to share any interesting story when he was NOT recognized by public and surprised by that?

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards from Ukraine,

Denys

Would the estate consider releasing the "Piano And Microphone" Gala shows (January 21st) and "Piano And Microphone" Tour shows as a box set like several high calibre legacy artists like Prince have done in the past?

Is there any immediate plans to release the memoirs Prince was writing at the time of death?

How soon will the "Black On Both Sides" album, Prince finished recording with Kirk Johnson, Adrian Crutchfield and Mononeon recording in February of 2016?

Lastly, the album Prince recorded with the late great John Blackwell, Andrew Gouche, Marcus Anderson and Xavier called "NPGQ", will this album be released in the near future? I think the general public should hear the the last projects that Prince worked on that was mainly improvisational with great musicians of jazz and fusion backgrounds.

Hi Sharon, thanks for taking the time to answer some questions. I apologise in advance if this is not something you are willing or able to discuss, emotionally or legally. But if you can, please could you tell us about what you know regarding the months prior to Prince's passing and what he was dealing with? There is so much congecture, tabloid gossip and general confusion surrounding everything that a first hand account would help to clear things up and, no doubt, provide closure to many. I guess in a nutshell my question is: What on earth happened and why?

Many thanks and, one again, apologies for bring up what can only be a difficult topic to talk about.

Hi Sharon!

My deepest condolences! It was quite shocking to me to hear about Prince's sudden death. So why does nobody open up and speak the truth? I'm still grieving and it seems as if I won't be able to find any comfort as long as there are no answers. Because of this it doesn't sit well with me to support any of the new Prince offerings by the estate. Pop is a big fat lie, but life isn't.

Hi Sharon,

Do you think that there's a chance for Hardcore fans to have a digital platform opened in the near future ?

Some kind of NPG Music Club 2.0 where outakes, demos, videos, live shows, etc could be shared in return of an annual/monthly fee ?

I think Prince would have loved such a place where Hardcore fans could buy his music and have much more than they can have with physical releases through record companies.

Thanks in advance for your kind answer.

Hi Sharon, Thank you in advance for coming here to answer some questions.

How do you feel about celebrities like Stevie Nicks and Jay Z speaking out about Prince?

Stevie Nicks recently gave an interview about Prince that was very disrespectful (in my opinion) and then of course the lyric of Jay Z's new song was throwing some disrepect around also.

Also, did Prince ever show an interest in putting out some of his father's songs?

Rumors have spread through the Prince fan community about the Vault(s) not being in very good condition. Prince would record so much and often move onto the next project so quickly that previous recorded material (tapes) were not preserved properly leading to deterioration. Some have even said that he had older tapes destroyed or recorded over older material.

Can you give us the truth on the state of the vault? Has it been gone through by family? Isit being properly curated and preserved?

1) Can we get the Detroit Bday show with the Parade remaster?
2) How does/will the estate gather the most accurate list of songs for consideration as outtakes consistent with each album/era. Is quality a criteria too?
3) Would the estate consider a definitive box set (don't just do chronological album remasters) that captures the breadth of ur dear brothers talents and compile the discs thematically? First and foremost, my condolensences to you and your family for your loss.

In regards to the Vault, could you please enlighten the Org with the following:

1.) Has the Vault been inventoried, and if so, what is the amount of material in the Vault?

2.) Aside from legal contracts, what is the probability of the contents being released?

3.) Are there currently any plans for preservation and digitalizing the Vault Material?

4.) Aside from the audio and video contents, are there a vast amount of photos or miscellaneous items in the Vault that most are not commonly aware of?

5.) Lastly, were there really multiple Vaults?

Thank you for your time in addressing these questions.

Hi Sharon biggrin Thank you for answering questions! I was wondering (the answer may be out there somewhere but I haven't come across it yet) but, as for your father's album that is coming out- will it be available in CD form? I am an old school kind of girl, I like to own my music - I still like CD's and records so I'm hoping it will be an album on a CD and if so, will it be available on Amazon or in stores? Thank you --- Also, it seems Prince was very much like his father- would you say that is true? Do you think they were similar? You all seem like very nice people _ I hope the best for all of you---- Please keep Paisley Park up and running- it can be like a Graceland but better, in my opinion -- smile P.S. here is my suggestion for Paisley Park --- Maybe some high end clothing made by his seamstress(es) It would be so great if there were items for sale like the Emancipation white bubble coat or a nice Lovesexy blazer or nice, blazers with "Minneapolis," on the arm- stuff like that! How cool! I would pay good money for it! smile Just an idea smile Thank you, Sharon. God Bless. smile

What is your favourite & least favourite song/album of his?

What is your ideal scenario for continuing his legacy?

Is there any truth to the rumours about a reality show?

Do you think he intentionality didn't leave a will?

Tyka is quoted as saying she had known for 2 years and had already "made peace" by the time of his passing, was it a shock to you or had you "made peace" too?

Much respect & well wishes

1) How many songs approx. are there in the vault?

2) Did Prince ever grow to love soccer the same as basketball?

3) Was Jeannette Gutierrez any good at teaching him chess?

please on behalf of the Prince community, will you make sure it will be these albums, in case you can have some kind of influence on future releases from Warner :

1. 1999 remaster with outtakes maybe

Thanks, Sharon, in case my "?'s" are relevant. heart

Hello, Sharon Nelson! wave

Your brother meant a great deal to me and had a massive impact on my life. I would not be the me that I am, had it not been for his crafting the soundtrack of my life as it was lived and allowing me the privilege of experiencing his truly extraordinary journey- along the way - in my own way. hammer

For that, I will be eternally grateful to him and any sacrifices he made along the way. heart

My heartfelt condolences to your family and thank you for sharing with us Ms. Sharon. It was a blessing to meet Prince in Vegas and be able to tell him to his face how much his artistry meant to me. I wonder if he kept what I gave him?

Anyway, you probably can't answer that but perhaps you can tell us when and if the 3121 movie or any other video will be released other than what is already out?

Also, what is the one memory that you will cherish most about your brother?

Be blessed!

Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Hello Ma'am,

I hope you are doing well. I would agree with the previous posters in that I would like to know:

1. When additional unreleased music might be released as strictly standalone releases from the vault?

2. If there is a chance that there might be consideration of a release of a book of unreleased poetry / lyrics from Prince's notebooks as we have often heard how prolific he was in regards to writing. This man had such a unique mind and view of the world which we would all like to have better insight into.

Thank you for your time and consideration of these questions.

Hello Sharon,

I extend to you and your family my condolences on the loss of Prince. Thank you for taking the time to respond to our questions.

.

I am wondering if there are any plans to re-issue out-of-print albums such as Diamonds and Pearls, prince, Emancipation, and Musicology. Diamonds and Pearls (my second favourite Prince album) was one of his best-selling albums, yet it is virtually impossible to purchase new copies of it in CD form from major retailers, both in brick-and-mortar stores or online.

.

I am a former elementary special education teacher and am wondering if the Estate has considered working with a publisher to create Prince-related children's books in order to provide younger generations with greater exposure to Prince. Here are 2 examples:

- A biography about Prince that is appropriate for children

- An illustrated version of "Starfish and Coffee" in which the song's lyrics are the words and an illustrator would make illustrations.

.

Warmly,

Michelle

Hi Sharon, thanks for joining us. Like everybody else I'd like to express condolences to your family for the loss of your wonderful brother. He meant the world to us too.

Question 1: what is your favourite Prince song/album?

Question 2: I don't know how much input you have regarding reissues but could you pressure labels to fact check for future releases? The liner notes of the PR reissue contained a lot of errors regarding recording details. I'm sure the experts here on the Org or PrinceVault would be only too pleased to help in this regard.

Thank you.

Hi Sharon

I'm so sad for your loss but I hope you take some comfort from knowing what a profound effect he had on so many people's lives.

I would like to know 2 things: Does any footage exist of Prince playing from the very early days, ie. from Grand Central up to the For You album?
Also, I understand he stayed with you in New York before he was signed trying to get a record deal. What was he like then and what conversations did you have with him about his future?

Thank you Sharon so much for doing this.
There are so many fans still hurting from Prince's passing, I hope this is as much of a healing process for you as it is for us.

Questions:
1. When Prince changed his name to a symbol, what did you call him?
2.Will Paisley Park items (books etc) be available to purchase in Europe?

3. Lastly, I hope nobody minds this question, but as a creative dyslexic person myself, I've often wondered, was Prince dyslexic in anyway?

Thank you.

Hear are my 3 main questions:

1) What is the current state of the vault, are you still going through it?

2) When can we expect official Prince music DIRECT from the estate/vault being released? does the Estate have a proper plan or strategy for releasing vault material once it has been catalogued?

3) Does the Prince estate approve of Warner Brothers new releases and is vault material being passed onto them for re release?

Ms. Nelson, thank you for this opportunity. Are there any plans to release all of Prince's tours as both video (DVD) and audio? If so, will there be multiple releases from each tour, such as three different shows from the Dirty Mind Tour and three different shows from the Controversy Tour? Additionally, if this is being considered, then what about the possibility of releasing the tours--video and audio--from an independent website so that fans can purchase/download individual songs--audio and video--from each show of each tour as well. For instance, we could purchase/download an entire show—audio or video—for $19.99 or purchase/download one song—audio or video—for $0.99. Again, thank you for this opportunity to pose a question, and I hope that you and your family continue to gain comfort and strength.

Hi Sharon xo
Thank you for giving your time to answer our questions 💕
Prince is still living in our hearts, we love him like no other, he gave so much in so many ways. On a personal level his death still affects me, I am now familia with a new kind of hurt... I know life goes on and I know Prince would want us to be happy enjoying his music... 💜

My question to u is about the estate - is the estate going to release music that Prince would be against releasing?
There are so many things happening that we know he would not have done
Eg music streaming, YouTube, songs with swearing....

How do u feel about all this that's going on? Is it something u agree with?
This has become so very confusing for many fans because we knew what Prince stood for, he was a massive part of our lives - we lived and breathed his music and we all know what he wanted, he made it clear to the entire world.....

So in order for many to feel like they r not betraying Prince, can you please help us understand what the estate is about....

Hello Sharon, It was always rumored that Prince kept notebooks of lyrics, ideas, sketches. Prince would write everything down? Do you remember him doing this at an early age? I think us fans would go crazy for a book of handwritten lyrics and ideas. The latest books releases were beautiful, appreciate the book of music instruments. We fans are also still sad over the loss of Prince and can't imagine how tough it was been for family.

Just to add my own thoughts - Prince was a one-off; he will be forever missed and mourned, even by those of us who knew him only through his music. My deepest sympathies go out to those with whom he shared 'real' bonds.

To that end, I guess I'd like to know your thoughts on the relationships he had with women...Assuming he had lots of lovers (if that is even true) - what would you say it was about him that enabled him to stay friends with most / all of them? This would be wonderful. A book with the pages Prince had already written (both submited and the ones written but yet to be submitted), poetry, written down thoughts, letters, photos of favourite items (like stuff sent out by fans that he kept, fan letters, mementos from tours and places and friends that he personally kept) and especially photographs taken by him. <3

2. When will unreleased music and video footage from the Vault start to be released and what is the plan on handling this huge project?

3. Will Prince's final memoir work that he personally penned, even though it was never completed, be released and when?

Giving us this opportunity, I personally don't know what I can ask in regards to PP, music and continuing the legacy. I mean it's one thing to ask directly the man himself but living in the present, there are too many people involved and handling all of this.

With that being said, I am hoping the following I ask is acceptable

* U appeared alongside with ur father in a 1991 interview 4 A Current Affair. Were both u and ur father ever on good terms with ur brother since that was aired?

* As of 2day, can u describe ur relationship with the other 5 heirs?

* If possible, can u tell us the story behind this picture of u and ur brother?

Hello, Sharon,

Thank you for agreeing to answer questions from fans about your brother and sincere condolences to you and your family.

Prince had a special relationship with his fans, it's not every artist who holds 'Celebration' events at their home, or will play so many intimate aftershow gigs. There was the mystique of his persona on the one hand, but also a willingness to engage on a more personal level too and that always fascinated me.

Why do you think he put himself out there as an artist in such a way?

Craig.

With obvious respect and condolences to Sharon and Prince's family, my only question would be simply: "What happened to Prince?" the how and the why, that led Prince to die the way he did.

We are heartbroken, but there are so many unanswered questions that will never go away and to ignore them doesn't serve to protect anyone or his legacy in the long-run.

If we all knew the truth his legacy would be strengthened by people's empathy for his courage and beliefs if he was suffering before he passed. We often hear about protecting his legacy, but knowing the truth about his situation and his strength or his decisions to deal with whatever his malady was, would only serve to empower him to all of us and lead the world to know how he achieved so much in the face of adversity.

Even if the truth may shock us, by letting his legacy be tarnished by the association of drug addiction, is to many obviously not the full picture nor the correct one. Only then will the true nature, and significance, of his legacy to be revealed and preserved.

We miss him terribly, and I am sure that the Nelson family feels this a thousand times over and is torn by everything that has happened since Prince passed. I hope at least in part his legacy will eventually find you some peace and bring you closer together as a family.

x

Hi Ms. Nelson,

First, I just want to say how very sorry I am for your (our) loss. There was only one Prince and there will never be another like him. He touched so many peoples lives, influenced so many artists, and was deeply loved the world over. I can't imagine how hard it is for those that were closest to him, knew and loved him, and was loved by him, to get through the constant reminders of that loss. We all loved him here on the org and we miss him. So, I can only imagine how difficult this time has been for you.

Others have asked about the music, the vault, videos, CDs, etc. I guess my questions are:

1. Did Prince know he was so very loved by so many people?
2. Was the mystique that he developed as a star, truly a part of him and come naturally, or was it something he had to work at?
3. What is your greatest memory of Prince, as a brother?
4. What was it like for your brother growing up? There have been rumors of what he experienced as a child, and I know those things can shape a person as they develop, who they become, but how did those things effect Prince (if those rumors are true)?
5. In your opinion, what would Prince want us, the fans, to know, to take with us from this point onward?

One Love,
benni

Hi Ms Sharon

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Thanks for agreeing to speak to us about your brother. I just wanted you to give a little bit of a background of how you worked with Prince early on and possibly when he went to NY early on. Also anything you can share with regards to Prince's passing as we are all still trying to come to terms with this.

Did Prince sing when he was younger also, or did he just play instruments?

Thanks, Fiona.

Hello Sharon,

Thanks for so much for your time and sharing. My deepest condolences on the loss of your brother.

Could you talk just a bit about the evolution of Prince's religious feeling and his relationship with God?

Was he a big Bible reader as a child or a teen?

At what point in life would you say he began to take a serious interest in spirituality and/or God? Was there ever any confict between his spirituality and relationship with God and his other serious pursuits/interests?

I'd be most grateful for any insight of any kind you might be inclined to offer in this area of your brother's journey.

Thanks so much!

Hello Ms. Sharon, first off let me say that I am deeply sorry for the loss of your brother, I can't imagine losing my brother. The question(s) I have for you is, if at all possible could you elaborate on the relationship between you and your brother Prince? Where you guys at all close? Was he close to any of his brothers and sisters? Family is really important and it pains me to think that his relationships with his family was streamed in anyway. Thank you.

Hi Sharon, It was reported that Prince wanted his concerts shown at Paisley Park. Earlier this year, Paisley Park was screening unreleased concerts and that suddenly stopped in April. Will these screenings continue at some point? Also, with the amount of items that have been archived, around 7,000 according to reports, it would be nice if they could rotate items more frequently. Thank you for keeping Paisley Park open for the fans!

Hi Ms Nelson,

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the tragic passing of your brother, Prince.

Could you tell us if Prince attended family gatherings, and if so, what sorts of things he liked to talk about. Did he, for instance, share detailed accounts of his music, current and future projects?

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Org.
Kindest regards.

Hi Ms. Nelson,

Thank you for taking time to do this. My condolances for the loss of your brother. He will be missed.

I have one question: Prince was a musician and showman. He created a certain public image and later in his life when wisdom and spirituality took over, he tried to recreate his image more or less. He once said that it was all part of his journey in life to become the person he eventually would turn out to be. Do you think, or has Prince ever expressed, that he had serious regrets or doubts about how he handled things in his life or career? He always looked so confident, but after all, he was just a man. We never really got the chance to hear his own reflections on his career or read his personal memoirs.

Kind regards,

Hello Sharon -

Regarding the upcoming John L. Nelson album (I am very excited about this project!)

1. Does the newly recorded music stay absolutely true to what was written on the sheet music that was found or has it been "improved" upon or altered in any way? If so, how?

2. Did you find more music that will not be included on this release? If so, how did you choose which tracks to include?

3. Was Prince familiar with any of this music? Did he play any of the songs with his father at any point?

Thank you for considering answering my questions. I look forward to resolution with the estate (Prince's musical catalog) and many more exciting releases in the future!!

I remember on the day Prince passed there was an avatar of Prince's face on his Twitter with his eyes closed and a teardrop falling.

It was removed just as quickly as soon as the news hit the world.

Do you know who put the picture up and removed it?

Very good question...?

I love animals and was wondering other than his doves did Prince have any other pets when he passed away? I've seen pictures of a cat he had back in the 80s or early 90s named Paisley but haven't heard of any other pets.

Thanks for allowing the fans to ask you questions.

Dear Sharon,

My sympathies go out to you and your family. Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions I really appreciate this.

There has been a lot of speculation and conjecture about how Denise Matthews' passing affected Prince in his final months. The Australian newspaper Herald Sun wrote about it after his Melbourne concert. Many people believe that Prince and Denise maintained a special connection throughout the years.

Could you tell us something more about this? Did Prince express his feelings to you about Denise's passing? Did they stay in touch throughout the years? If any, what was their recent relationship like? I understand the gravity of these questions, but people have come up with the wildest theories and hypotheses on this topic.

Thank you for this opportunity and I wish you all the best

Dear Sharon,

Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to the fan community. Prince meant so much to his fans, and I can't imagine how hard it must be for his family after losing him. hug

First, I wanted to say thank you for the efforts thus far to push forward with your brother's legacy. The release of "Moonbeam Levels" on 4Ever was incredibly moving to me - that song has such wonder and its release was very helpful to me personally during what was a very difficult year, so thank you.

A question, if I may: there are many, many fans on prince.org who are encyclopedias of Prince knowledge (including BorisFishpaw, oldfriends4sale, Militant, Neversin, and many more I am forgetting). Would the estate consider engaging with fans like these for subsequent releases? While the opinions of Prince fans are wide and varied, the inclusion of fans such as these would be a great step in ensuring that future releases are received as enthusiastically as possible by the fanbase.

Once again, thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello Sharon,

Again, my condolences on the loss of your brother and my gratitude for your willingness to respond to the questions of us fans. I hesitate to ask the following questions about your family because the questions address sensitive topics. However, I am interested in your perspective, if you would are willing to share. Prince has touched my life with his music and he shared so much of himself with his fans through his music. Like other fans, I wonder about his life because he is a big part of mine.

I have read Mayte Garcia's memoir The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince. I found particularly touching her descriptions of Prince during their first pregnancy and while their son/your nephew, Amiir, was alive. Mayte’s descriptions of him as a devoted father are among the most loving, flattering, and magnificent descriptions that I have ever read or heard about your brother.

To my knowledge, no one from the family or the Estate responded to anything she wrote in the book. If you are willing to share, I am interested to hear your perspective, as a member of the Nelson family, regarding some of the content in her book.

1. In the book, Mayte recalls meeting your father John Nelson 2 times, neither of which was at she and Prince’s wedding. I am wondering if your father attended Prince and Mayte’s wedding, and if he attended Prince and Manuela’s wedding? Did you attend these weddings?

2. Did you ever have the chance to see your nephew, Prince and Mayte’s son, Amiir?

3. Prince never talked about his son Amiir publicly. Did he ever speak about Amiir privately amongst family or friends?

4. Given the loss of his child, was it hard for him to be around other people’s children?

5. When I hear songs like “Breakdown” and “Way Back Home” from Art Official Age, Prince seems to be singing from a place of pain, and I wonder about his mindset when he wrote songs like those 2. Given the unspeakable loss of losing his only child, in the latter years of his life, did Prince still think about Amiir? In the latter years of his life, did the loss of Amiir still affect Prince?

6. Besides “Comeback” and “Until U’re in My Arms Again,” do you know of any other songs that he wrote for or about Amiir?

Again, thank you for reaching out to the fans and trying to answer our questions.

Respectfully,
Michelle

Hi Sharon!!! Considering most Prince fans are in the 40-50 year old age group. How close is the family to actually putting Prince's full music catalog onto Itunes? Full catalog consisting of unreleased music, alternate versions and remixes? I would assume this would be the fastest and most cost efficient way to release his music. Maybe the family could have a separate distribution deal with Warner Brothers for Hard copy CDs which are popular amongst old school Prince fans. Most fans won't be around to enjoy Prince's music at one release per year, if average age of fans are between 40-50. Streaming music is very important now a days, but please do not make this the major way to distribute his music. Thanks for your time Sharon!!!

Another question, on behalf of other members who are discussing Prince's childhood in another thread...
.
Are you able to shed any light on the relationship P had with his Mum, Dad, and Step-father as a child? What led to his leaving home / being made to leave so young? Are you able to dispel / confirm rumours about P being found to be behaving inappropriately?

.

Do you think P's childhood had much of a bearing on the way he behaved as an adult?

.

Thank you again for your indulging us all by answering questions that have plagued many fans for so many years - Prince was an enigma, for sure!
